Dom is best known for his leadership of EVERESTMAX, one of the most ambitious and successful British expeditions in decades and the first to achieve the ultimate ascent.

EVERESTMAX began on the shores of the Dead Sea. The team spent five months cycling overland through Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal and Tibet, before climbing Everest. The distance from sea to summit was 8000km and an ascent of 9270m.

The journey is listed as a Guinness World Record and has never been repeated.
